Pothook & Glen Iron Projects

Williams Creek owns three Crown Granted mineral claims roughly 10 KM West of Kamloops. Two of these, the Pothook group (a copper porphyry/skarn property), are immediately east of New Gold’s New Afton Mine Project. BC. Link to former producer Cliff Minfile: http://minfile.gov.bc.ca/report.aspx?No=72957&minfilno=092INE022&f=PDF&r=Minfile_detail.rpt

Geophysical research conducted in 2005 on the Pothook claims revealed a substantial anomaly often associated with sulphide mineralization and particularly high-grade copper-gold mineralization. Subsequent drilling conducted by Williams Creek in 2006 discovered high-grade copper gold mineralization at a variety of intercepts. This is notable because New Gold Inc. is operating a large underground development project immediately north of the Company’s project. New Gold Inc. is in the last stages of developing its high-grade copper gold deposit, with full production anticipated by late 2012.

The Glen Iron Crown Grant is located on the south shore of Kamloops Lake at the site of the Glen Iron mine, a former copper/gold porphyry producer.  Link to Minfile 092INE025: http://minfile.gov.bc.ca/report.aspx?No=74803&minfilno=092INE025&f=PDF&r=Minfile_detail.rpt

Drill analyses conducted by K.V Campbell, Ph.D., P.Geo, a ‘qualified person’ under the definition of National Instrument 43-101

  • Two holes drilled in September 2005 intercepted copper and gold grades up to 0.9% copper and 1.1 g/t gold over narrow intercepts
  • Subsequently, three holes were drilled that intersected similar alteration, including copper-gold mineralization. This drilling returned an interval of 22.75 meters averaging 0.18% copper and 0.22 g/t gold from 172.8 to 196.3 meters
  • 2005 drilling followed up on the results of the 2003 program, with 6 drill holes totalling 1460 meters
  • Results included 38.58 meters of 2.6 g/t of gold, including a quartz vein with 86.8 g/t of gold over 0.64m
